About the role#
The Intern will support the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) by working with the Learning, Development, and Communication team. This role provides administrative support for scheduling, reporting, and content design to help meet strategic HRSC objectives. This is a part-time, remote position requiring 30 hours per week, with a preference for candidates based in the Tampa, Florida area. The internship will continue through the academic year.
What you'll do#
- Support the Learning, Development, and Communication team with end-to-end content development.
- Manage the Training and Development queue and assign tasks to team members.
- Oversee the setup of courses and live sessions, upload materials to the Learning Management System, and track attendance.
- Coordinate the scheduling of events, including HRSC Town Halls, virtual social hours, lab tours, and lunch and learns.
- Create and maintain Quick Reference Guides, videos, and courses.
- Assist with HR Portal content maintenance, including conducting quarterly audits for document accuracy.
- Support communications for HRSC leadership, including newsletters, templates, and internal announcements.
- Perform technical tasks such as image editing, video compression, mail merges, and monthly report updates.
What you'll need#
- Minimum one year of instructional or graphic design experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- Technical savviness and the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat is required.
- Familiarity with tools such as Articulate Rise 360, Microsoft ClipChamp, SnagIt, SharePoint, Canva, Kahoot, and Oracle is preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Graphic Design, Communications, Business Administration, or Psychology.
